Steps To Remove Paintball Paint From The Car
Step # 01: First of all, you need to wash your car normally with a mild dishwashing detergent. Don’t scrub off the paint just yet. Simply wipe the car’s surface with a soapy sponge.
Step # 02: Spray the car with water from a garden hose spray. Make sure to target the areas with paintball paint on it.
Step # 03: Now, take a small towel and gently dry out the area with paintball paint.
Step # 04: After that, take the bug and tar remover spray and directly spray the contents over the painted area. You may also use a cotton ball to apply the remover to the paint surface. Then, let the remover sit for a minute. After that use the same cotton ball to gently remove the paintball paint from the car. Make sure that you don’t scrub the surface too harshly because it will damage the color of the car underneath.
Step # 05: Keep applying the remover to the same spot with the help of a fresh cotton ball until it is gone completely.
Step # 06: Repeat steps # 3, 4, and 5 on each of the paintball paint stains until your car is wiped clean of all the paint.
Step # 07: Now, simply spray water on the car with the garden hose spray to get the remover out of the surface otherwise, it will start to eat away your car’s paint itself.

Steps To Remove Paintball Paint From The Car Windows
You can not repeat the same process for getting paint out of your car’s windows as well. You will have to use slightly different products for this purpose as well. So, if you also got paint on your car’s windows, you’d better start paying attention to what I am about to tell you next.
Step # 01: Take a small bowl and fill it with warm water. Then, mix two tablespoons of dishwashing liquid with this water and mix well.
Step # 02: Now, dip the sponge in this mixture and rub it against the paint on your car’s windows.

Step # 05: Once you are done, spray any glass cleaner on the windows and wipe them with a soft clean towel.
FAQs
Do paintballs ruin car paint?
No paintballs do not normally ruin car paint however, you may accidentally do that if you are not careful while cleaning it off. This is because paintballs are fired at a speed of three hundred feet per second.
This speed is fast enough for the paintball paint to penetrate the car’s paint but does not permanently damage it. So, just make sure that you do not scrub off the paintball paint from the car. Use a remover or hydrogen peroxide to weaken the paint bonds before rubbing it off.
Final Thoughts
So, this was all from my side. I hope these procedures help you get rid of those horrible stubborn paintball paint stains from your car. The reason why I suggested you use a dishwashing liquid to wash your car is that paintball paint is made of food colors and other ingredients that we normally use in our food.
And dishwashing liquids are specifically made to wash off such stains. Hence, it weakens the paint bonds and makes it easier for you to get rid of them. In any case, if you found all this information useful, make sure to share it with your friends as well.
